Hanover Community Players

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TUES. FEB. 11TH, 2025 - 7:00-8:00 P.M.

CLASSROOM - P&H CENTRE

PURPOSE

To educate and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts by providing performances of an artistic nature for the community of Hanover and surrounding areas.

The Hanover Community Players shall be carried on without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or other accretions to the Organization shall be used solely to promote its objectives.

MISSION STATEMENT

To produce a broad range of theatrical presentations of the highest possible calibre and to provide an outlet for creative community involvement with a focus on youth.

To provide inclusive, hands-on learning opportunities in all aspects of theatre production and management and to provide an enjoyable theatrical experience to area residents

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Hanover Community Players organization is governed by an elected board and a constitution and by-laws.  Members elected are all volunteers.  Positions are:

• Chair
• Vice Chair
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Members at Large

Elections are held in each February of a production year.  The government year for HCP runs from January 1st to December 31st.

Meetings are held once a month, usually on the second Tuesday of every month except July, August and December.  Timed meetings are 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the classroom at the P & H Centre.   Some exceptions may occur due to unexpected needs.
